"I never lied," Ankh pursued out of reflex. "As soon as I'm free, I'm going to get you," Hra snarled, only audible to her sister. She thrashed and began to kick her father in the shin, anxious to get her sibling, but he apparently went unfazed.

"That wasn't your question, Ankh," retorted Mysraela, fixing Hra with the coldest glare possible. Ahk's voice was sugar-coated with mock fear as she hissed back, "Oh, what ever shall I do? Hra's going to get me!"

"Then would yes be the answer to my question?" Ankh replied miserably, obviously in quite dismay at his situation. Hra struggled harder against her father's grip, determined to get her hands about her sibling's neck, even if it meant chewing off Ankh's hand. "You better hope you learn to fly soon, because that's the only way you're going to escape when I'm done here," Hra taunted satanicly.

"Ankh, you never asked a question," replied Mysraela, suddenly snaking forward to take Hra's other wrist. "But your answer is yes. Now, shall we all go inside?" she asked, as eerily pleasantly as she would as if inviting neighbors in for a chat. Ahk obliged, pulling up a minute door on the roof and dropping in. "Ankh, would you go first? I can keep an eye on Hra for a second."

Ankh eyed Mysraela uncertainly and then dropped into the door as well, freeing his grip upon Hra, following behind Ahk. Hra pulled against her mother, only damaging her skin more in the effort. It burned as she struggled but she still tried, even in vain.

Mysraela pulled Hra to the opening. "Your turn," she said, pushing her to the edge. When Hra was down, Mysraela would quickly follow and pull the door shut behind her, providing no chance of escape for anyone. Ahk had already disappeared down a short hallway and into her room, shutting the door almost noiselessly behind her.

Hra wrinkled her nose in disdain at her mother before fluttering down to the ground before her, facing her father in a hateful manner. "That's it..." the eldest murmured, walking silently toward her sibling's room, "I told you..."

Fortunately, in her small time allotment, Ahk had pushed her dresser in front of her door, as well as herself. And, since the door opened out into the hall, the youngest had tied a length of cord around the knob and up to where a small, upturned hook was embedded into the wall. Hopefully, Hra would have a harder time getting in now than usual.

Hra twisted the knob sternly, trying as hard as she could but the door wouldn't budge in her wake. "Ahk!" screamed she, not caring who heard, "Open the door!" Immediately she began to kick the foot of it, lashing out with brute force. If she couldn't simply open the door, then she'd tear it down!

Ahk felt every pound on the door, and yelled back, just as loudly, "Why should I open the door if you're going to kill me once I do?" The younger saw no reason to commit suicide so quickly.
Mysraela looked to Ankh. "Should we stop them?" she asked, her tone only half-hearted. There would be no point; the two would simply never get along willingly.

"No one ever stopped me and Crow, and look how we turned out... just fine," Ankh replied smoothly, if not a little sarcastically. He simply sat down and listened to the two quarrel. It might be another headache for another day, but he wasn't particularly wanting to let the two fight and fray, but they had to get it out somehow.
"Because I'm your sister, and what I say goes!" Hra screamed, feathers crested in fury. She began to beat the door as if it had wronged her instead of her sibling.

"Tell yourself that all you want, it still won't move the door," replied Ahk icily, still leaning against the dresser that served as a blockade. "You know," she continued, her voice calm, "the door didn't do anything to you, you shouldn't be hurting it." Ahk wanted to be on the other side of the door. She figured it was most comical to see her sister attacking a piece of wood with all her strength she could muster.

"Hra... settle down," Ankh finally interjected, quite exhausted from her dins. "I'm not stopping until Ahk lets me in!" Hra growled crazily, determined to take hold of her sister. Her father stood up, looming ever so imperiously over her. "You go to your own room, Hra, and leave your sister alone..." he snapped with a rabid glare fixed upon her. Immediately, with her tail between her legs, so to speak, she trailed off to the room down the corridor.

Ahk smirked to herself. Another score for her! "Serves you right, Hra!" she called triumphantly through the barrier. Though it seemed safe now, there was no way that the younger sister would move her dresser and untie her doorknob. She knew that Hra would be planning something tonight.

Hra sat on the ground, ignoring the furniture in her room with her arms crossed. Chocolate optics shifted from her door to the ceiling. What could she do now until her parents slept? But of course, waking them up wasn't difficult. The demon scratched her head thoughtfully. "I could... no... that wouldn't work," she uttered with a muffled groan. But Ankh had come to fall in deep slumber upon the couch, his silky-smooth, milky wings draped across his face.
Hra peeked out of her room, and, upon seeing her father asleep, stepped out quickly and muttered a few enchantments in demonic tongue, learning this from her uncle. The doorknob on Ahk's door twisted silently and gradually pushed the things behind it away, leaving a clear coast to her sister. OOC: Heh, sorry, had to do that coz it would've gotten boring if I didn't!
