Ahk twisted uselessly in her father's grasp. She knew that he'd win anyway, as he was considerably stronger and could fly with both his weight and her own. Why was she always getting in trouble because of Hra's provokative actions, anyway? "You know that's not true," retorted Mysraela to Hra, her gaze and tone gentle. "Why is it that you're always so hard on yourself and those around you?" The adult took off, her child in tow.

"You know it is true. Father's always telling me so," Hra stated falsely, attempting to get Ankh in trouble. She snapped open her wings as her mother began flying, just to assisst herself. "I've never said any such thing," her father snapped bitterly, barely struggling with Ahk's vain thrashings.

It might not be father who thinks that I'm the better child, thought Ahk to herself, snickering. "Then who's lying?" asked Mysraela, looking to both for an answer. Why not entertain herself for the duration of their flight?

"I wouldn't lie to you," came Ankh's reply, and quite without hesitation. Hra cursed herself. She knew she would lose this battle, but certainly not the war. "...When you have so many years, though," chimed the child with a sorrowful and pitiful tone. Her father gave her a stern look and scoffed.

"What if they're both lying?" questioned Ahk, looking to her mother. "Hra could be lying about how Father calls her pathetic, and Father could by lying about how he never lies to you." That should stir up some confusion, as well as some heated debate, but mainly entertainment for the youngest.

"I'm not lying! Did you not just hear him say I was pathetic? Didn't you, Mother?" Hra snapped, giving a satanic glare to Ahk. Ankh only stayed silent. He was stumped. If he told Mysraela he's never lied, then he would be lying! But... she wouldn't know that. "It's the truth. I've never lied to you. Now... I can't say the same about other people," Hra's father said cooly.

"But now you could be lying about not lying," pointed out Ahk, clearly having a lot of fun with this. Mysraela simply shook her head and flew on. What had she started and why?

Ankh opened his mouth to say something and then clamped it shut. No point in lying anymore. Hra simply grinned at her father's silence. A vicious glint suddenly flared in her suede optics. "What is love but a lie?" she commented, which made Ankh a little nervous. Why must he be interrogated so?

Ahk interrupted by announcing, "We're home! Finally...." She was glad she wouldn't have to listen to their bickering much longer. Mysraela glided gently down to let her bare feet touch the textured roof that was littered with stones. She folded her wings carefully shut and released only one of Hra's wrists, uncertain that she would stay if she were given the option.

Ankh followed Mysraela, except letting Ahk free, but with a discomposed glare. Hra's smile faded as her sister was let loose, but she was still bound to her mother's grip. She tugged and pulled at Mysraela's hand, but to no avail on her apart.

"Before I let you go, you have to promise you'll stay here, and that you'll behave," warned Mysraela, loosening her grip ever so slightly on Hra's wrist. Ahk let a grin spread across her face. She was freed before her sister? That was new...

"I promise," Hra stated in the sweetest tone she could muster. Ankh looked at Mysraela from the peaks of his eyes. She was really going to let her go? His lavender optics then wandered to his youngest child. There was so much sibling rivalry all of a sudden, much like him and Crow. He just hoped it wouldn't come to such extremities as he and his brother, no matter how fun it was.

((How about as soon as Mysraela lets her go, Ankh grabs her and then they get into an arguement over trust while Ahk and Hra argue about... something else?))
Mysraela's fingers unwrapped from Hra's wrist and fell to their master's side. Ahk gave her mother a most crazed look, one that demanded to know how she could do this with confidence.

((kk)) When Mysraela's hand fell to her side, immediately Ankh reached out and grabbed Hra's wrist once more, just as she was about to dart off. With wings spread wide in only seconds, she couldn't have been later that her father, for she could have taken off in less than only five sweet seconds.

Ahk smirked, primly grooming her feathers as if nothing was happening. "No good this time, eh?" she asked casually, shooting a glance at Hra. Mysraela glared at her eldest. "Didn't we just have a conversation about lying?" she exclaimed, exasperated.
