"I'm a pacifist. I couldn't fight back and Father is much too old to do anything as well. And I pity him so, for now he has nowhere to rest peacefully," explained Draik, catching his breath. Daenarian was inhaling and exhaling rather shallowly as well, his stamina quite drained. "I'll let him rest peacefully, and be gone with you as well. Then the whole bloodline would cease to exist and mine would come of age!" the Lord snapped, as casually as if he were taking a stroll, "Dranil is nothing but the spawn of the Devil, anyways."

"Well, that could be a problem, couldn't it?" drawled Judidiah, watching the two carefully. There definitely wasn't any friendship, and if looks could kill... well, there would be two less elves to worry about today.

"Indeed," Daenarian concluded vilely. Draik bitterly leered at the other, his mind on his father. He was actually quite terrified he'd find Dranil dead if he went home, possibly assassinated. The former King wasn't hated, certainly opposite, but, knowing Daenarian, he could turn everyone against him, and surely someone would rebel.

"Well, since I'm no longer needed, I feel I must head elsewhere... So long," said Judidiah mockingly cheerful. If there was ever a more perfect escape route, then he must not have heard about it before.

Draik and Daenarian had a stare-off and Draik was the winner, before they raced after Judidiah. "You're going nowhere," snarled the King. "I need your help," Draik said, the two in unison.

Eyes widened in false surprise, Judidiah looked straight on at the two elves that confronted him. "What would you need help from a human for? According to all of you vain creatures, you're just so much brighter, faster, more beautiful and taller than us, no?"

"Honestly, I just need you to help keep him away from my father, Dranil. I would really much rather him die of old age than by homicide," Draik breathed sorrowfully. Daenarian pushed him out of the way, glaring at Judidiah. "I don't need you for anything but a servant," he growled, his tone full of acid and potent venom. His scarlet optics could penetrate any wall and damage any barricade that stood in his way.

Judidiah sighed in mock indecisiveness. "Gee, well, it's hard to decide... but shouldn't you two just solve your own differences? I mean, I hate being the middle man, you know."

"I can't. Pacifists don't fight," Draik replied, quite with a fierce and impatient air. Daenarian simply crossed his arms childishly. "I could take you as my servant anyways. I don't need your help doing it," snapped the Lord, smiling wretchedly.

I'm not part of the whole royal family thing. I can't help you." The human had the feeling he'd been caught in something in waters much deeper than he was used to.

((Not rlly )) "That doesn't matter, fool!" snapped Draik, becoming quite upset. How could he refuse helping his father? He was the one who made Du Weldenvarden better! Daenarian gave Draik an arid look, smiling contently. Keep getting angry... that'll really help you, thought the monarch, scarlet optics blazing with wickedness.

"You forget," retorted Judidiah, "That I'm not of your kind. See?" he drew back his honey tassels to reveal rounded human ears. "This isn't my fight, is it? I'm not an elf, I don't live here, and I don't even know why I'm here in the first place!"

"That doesn't matter, human. If you want to cease the wars and whatnot, you would help. Daenarian knows nothing of how to rule a country, for his family has no experience!" snarled the heir, his sharp fingernails digging into his palms. He was becoming quite flustered with this boy. But Daenarian acted as if he didn't hear his name, merely toying with his porcelain hair. "Are you done, you fictitious freak? I have more important matters to tend to and you, my friend, are coming with me," he said, pointing a slim finger at Judidiah.

Judidiah snorted. "Friend? Who said you, of all creatures, was my friend? I'd just as soon like to find myself face-to-face with a hungered, half-crazed dragon! Besides, only a moment ago you were going to kill me, remember?" challenged the boy, raising an eyebrow and casting a puzzled look to Daenarian.

OOC: For the sake of irony, can I have Leia and Artiglio come in right now? You know, cause of the half crazed dragon comment?
